The Graehl Park Revitalization Project
The renovated playground and plaza at Graehl Park is now OPEN! Construction of the Graehl Park Revitalization Project is complete, and the chain link fencing has been removed. The Parks and Recreation Department will be completing finishing touches before holding a ribbon cutting event later in August. Stay tuned for the event announcement!
Project Improvements include:
- Two play pads
- A riverside plaza featuring a tile mosaic
- Updated signage
- Other safety and accessibility improvements
The project was funded through the FNSB Capital Improvement Program’s Small Park Replacement Program, a Tier 2 grant from Rasmuson Foundation, and a donation from FAST Planning. Thank you to Denakkanaaga, Inc. and FAST Planning for collaborating with FNSB on the artistic tile mosaic in the park’s plaza.
