FNSB Businesses Very Small Quantity Generators (VSGQ) Waste
A generator (business) is a very small quantity generator in a calendar month if it generates less than 100 kilograms per month of hazardous waste, less than 1 kilogram per month of acute hazardous waste, and less than 100 kilograms per month of acute spill residue on soil. - CFR 40 262.

- Nominal fee (fee schedule)
- Maximum amount accepted is 220 pounds per month (approximately 26 gallons)

- Containers that hold over one gallon of liquids
- Contaminated soil
- Cooking oil and grease
- Radioactive materials
- Raw sewage
- Septage and pathogenic waste
- Untreated sewer sludge

Metal Containers
- Must have one end cut-out prior to disposal
- Larger than 500 gallons must be cut into sections no larger than a 500-gallon container
- Pipes and other large objects exceeding 8 feet in length
- Smoke detectors
- Explosives, incendiaries, ammunition
- Compressed gas cylinders
- Thermostats with mercury
