The Park has two seasons of operation: Summer and Winter

The SUMMER SEASON is from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day

• No admission fee (Some attractions charge a small fee or accept donations)
• Open daily, seven days per week during normal hours of 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm 
• Information Booth is open during normal hours
• Concessions, shops, activities and museums, are open during normal hours (some museums offer additional hours)
• Alaska Salmon Bake is open 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm daily for dinner (reservations not required)
• Palace Theatre Show daily at 8:15 pm (tickets must be reserved in advance)
• Bear Gallery is open
• Gazebo Nights performances nightly at 7:00 pm-FREE ADMISSION
• Playground is open
• Picnic shelters are available for rent (see Facility Rentals)
• Square Dance Hall offers scheduled events and classes
• The Folk School offers classes
• Community special events
• RV Parking-no hookups such as sewer, water, electric.  Dry Camping ONLY

The WINTER SEASON is from Labor Day through Memorial Day Weekend

• No admission fee
• The Park is open from 5:00 am - midnight for self guided walking tours to explore the artifacts and buildings, all of which are marked with interpretive signage, as well as holiday lighting
• Some museums may be open for limited hours, please contact the Park Office for details
• Bear Gallery is open Tuesday-Saturday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
• Playground is open
• Square Dance Hall offers scheduled events and classes
• The Folk School offers classes
• Community special events
